Margaret Woods, Director Mission and Pastoral Care

Margaret has responsibility for the development of Mission and Pastoral Care. The work of Mission includes the development of the philosophy, vision, mission, values and ethics of Catholic Community Services, across all the sites within NSW. Pastoral Care is a support service that Margaret coordinates to provide ongoing assistance to clients to prevent social exclusion and to promote emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Margaret has worked for over thirty years in Catholic education across five states culminating as principal of two schools within the Sydney region. Her years in education developed skills in leadership, mission, professional development, pastoral care, strategic management, administration and finance, which provide a solid foundation for her role within Catholic Community Services.
