Janis Redford, General Manager, Catholic Community Services

As General Manager, Janis has overall responsibility for leadership and management of the strategic and business operations of Catholic Community Services.

With over 28 years experience working in the health and community sectors, Janis joined Catholic Healthcare in August 2006. Prior to Catholic Healthcare, Janis was Mission Australia's NSW State Manager for Community Services where she had responsibility for delivering a diverse range of services to disadvantaged clients and their families at 110 sites throughout metropolitan, regional and rural NSW. She has also held roles as the CEO of a Third Schedule Hospital and Area Director for Allied Health Services in Central Sydney and the Central Coast Area Health Services.

Janis completed the Sydney Leadership Program in 2002 and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Executives. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy (Sydney), a Master of Health Administration (NSW), a Master of Business Administration (Macquarie) and a Diploma in Law (LPAB).

Janis is the community care representative on the Aged Care Committee of Catholic Health Australia and a member of the Community Care Advisory Committee for the Aged and Community Services Association.
