Support with activities of daily living
Working with people to set individual goals - providing support and building skills and capacity to manage daily living tasks.
Assistance is provided to support people to complete a range of daily living tasks including:
- housework, shopping, meal preparation
- showering, toileting etc
There are often a complex range of reasons why activities are not being managed. By undertaking a thorough assessment and developing an individualised outcome plan, strategies can be put in place to build capacity to undertake tasks. This might include supporting the person to re-engage with social networks, providing pastoral care, or mobility aids.
