Our flexible working hours and arrangements provide employment opportunities for people of all backgrounds to work as Community Workers. For example:

Our Community Workers are at the heart of our services. Community Workers are there to support our clients and recognise their needs for dignity, respect, growth and independence. We provide services that encourage people to enjoy meaningful participation in society as valued community members. 

 

As a Community Worker you will assist people in their homes with a range of tasks including personal care, domestic assistance, respite, transport and social support.  You will be required to work across a range of our aged care and disability programs. 

 

The folllowing qualifications are highly regarded for community worker roles but are not essential for application:

 

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Home and Community Care
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged Care
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability Work
• Certified Nursing Assistants (AIN) 
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Community Services
