How can volunteers be involved?
Volunteers work across all our services in both Sydney metropolitan and regional areas. Volunteer roles include:
- Visiting someone in their home;
- Pastoral care;
- Telephoning someone who is lonely and isolated;
- Administration;
- Client outings;
- Community transport;
- Coffee shop assistant;
- Assisting with activities in day centres (reading, craft, games etc);
- Visiting an isolated resident in a nursing home;
- Others.
