Brief Description of Program/Centre:
The Warnervale Wellness Centre provides day respite services to the carers of the frail aged, aged with dementia and those with younger onset dementia.

The centre is located at Hamlyn Terrace and is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm with the flexibility of offering respite from 7:00am to 7:00pm, upon request.

The aim of the centre is to provide opportunities for carers to “take a break” while the person they care for enjoys a variety of social and therapeutic programs in a safe and supportive environment.

The centre also offers emergency day respite to carers who have unexpected respite needs.

The centre delivers its programs in a cultural sensitive manner and caters to people from all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds.

Cost to Clients: $15 to $18 per day
