Pastoral Care ProgramPastoral care is a free service provided by Catholic Community Services. It is an important element of care that endeavours to prevent social exclusion, to support the emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our clients through a ministry of presence and companionship within the philosophy of our mission and values as an organisation.
The service is available to all those requiring support regardless of their faith tradition as well as to those who have no allegiance to a particular faith or religious belief. Catholic Community Services recognises we are a culturally diverse society and that a person’s spirituality or modes of worship can be expressed through a diverse array of customs and practises.
About Our Pastoral Care Service
Catholic Community Services has a pastoral care team that consists of both pastoral care coordinators and volunteers. They are available to assist those in the community who are sick or have a disability, those who are frail, elderly, marginalised and social isolated.
