Description of Service Type:
Maintenance therapy, such as diversional, recreational or speech therapy, podiatry, occupational or physiotherapy services designed to minimise deterioration in function.

Excludes: intensive, long-term rehabilitation services required such as following serious illness or injury, surgery or trauma, and services which the care recipient is able to claim through their private health insurance.
