“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Mahatma Ghandi (1869 – 1948)
Catholic Community Services are very fortunate to have a dynamic pool of volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life who have a desire to do something meaningful within the local community.
Our volunteers represent the diversity of our clients including those of different faiths and cultures.
We respect and value our volunteers; they contribute their time, skills and energy to work alongside our clients. Our volunteers are an integral part of our team working with the elderly, financially disadvantaged, people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness, people with a disability, people with a mental illness and carers.
Volunteering is not only a one way act of giving but it is also of great benefit to you. Instead of considering volunteering as something you do for people who are not as fortunate as yourself, begin to think of it as an exchange.
Our volunteers can help to support client independence, empowerment and the achievement of aspirations for clients, carers, families and communities and “this is the change we want to see”.
We are looking for volunteers for a variety of interesting and rewarding roles across NSW, including in the Sydney region, Southern Highlands, Illawarra, Central West, New England, Central Coast , Hunter and Orana.
