How can volunteers be involved?

Volunteers can enhance the quality of life for our clients. The Volunteer roles include and form mutually beneficial relationships:

• Visiting someone in their home;
• Pastoral care;
• Community links;
• Telephoning someone who is lonely and isolated;
• Administration;
• Client outings;
• Community transport;
• Coffee shop assistant;
• Assisting with activities in day centres (reading, craft, games etc);
• Visiting an isolated resident in a nursing home;
• Community Visitors Scheme;
• Individual specialised roles
